Filippo, who is based in Rome, began his career at Banca Leonardo joining the Brokerage Department starting at the Volatility Desk and then at the Institutional Sales Desk. Subsequently he moved to the Research Department as an equity analyst. For over eight years he has covered several companies operating in different sectors such as industrial, infrastructure, technology, real estate and services.
In 2009 Filippo started working in a single family office based in Lugano, Switzerland. Reporting directly to the board, he was the driving force in the start up of the family office planning and leading the diversification process as Investment Director. In this capacity he was able to operate on a global scale and in the main asset classes following countless transactions and making significant investments both directly and through funds.

David Strempel ha lavorato e prestato attività di consulenza presso alcuni fra i maggiori gruppi multinazionali in Europa e negli Stati Uniti e vanta una lunga esperienza nella compravendita di imprese di piccole-medie dimensioni. Prima di fondare Strempel & Partners, la società che ha preceduto Translink Strempel & Company, David era comproprietario e amministratore delegato di Informed Sources Ltd., una società di consulenza strategica per l’alta direzione venduta nel 2002 a Mercer Management Consulting (parte del gruppo Marsh & McLennan).
He is a qualified accountant (CPA) and began his career in 1982 with KPMG in Frankfurt. He later joined Price Waterhouse, working as a manager it the Milan and New York offices. Following Price Waterhouse, he joined AWT, Inc. (Veolia Environment) as Group Controller. He conducts business in his English, Italian and German. David is a member of our , having closed several transactions in this sector.
Riccardo joined as Director. He has more than seven years of international work experience: he worked in London in the Accounting and Finance sector, as consultant for some worldwide-leading Italian brands and as Accounting and Finance Manager for the UK subsidiary of a Krones Group company. In 2022, he moved back to Italy where he worked as M&A Analyst for a boutique consultancy firm in Venice. Riccardo holds a master’s degree in accounting and finance from Ca’ Foscari University

Gianni Laudato is a senior executive with a history of high profile positions as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director in multinational industrial groups; examples of his executive positions include: International Finance Manager at GTE Telecommunications SpA, operating in the telecom sector in Italy and abroad, with 6.500 employees; Chief Financial Officer at Ercole Marelli SpA, a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, operating in the electro-mechanical and energy sectors; Chief Financial Officer of the Group and Managing Director of the Italian operating companies at Schiapparelli SpA, a holding company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and operating in the pharmaceutics, cosmetics, diagnostics, biotech and food & beverage industries.
At Schiapparelli, Gianni spent 25 years, managing important acquisitions, joint-ventures, divestitures in Italy and abroad, equity and debt operations on listed companies, financial and industrial restructurings. In recent years Gianni founded S.I.L.V.A. SpA (Managing Director, owning 33% of the shares), a company operating in the high end Beverage/Spirits industry; acted as a Strategic consultant in the Beverage industry; joined MIT.FIN SpA (M&A and Corporate Finance advisory house) in late 2007 as Senior Executive Advisor. Since March 2010, Gianni is Senior Partner at Strempel & Company. Gianni can conduct his work in Italian, English and French. He is a member of our food and healthcare industry groups, having closed several transactions in these sectors.
Alberto has extensive experience in the field of corporate finance with years of experience in both equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. He began his career as an equity analyst and proceeded to work for Milla & Co (predecessor of Banca Leonardo), Caboto and for Pasfin Securities, then sold to BNP Paribas. At BNPP he was a member of the equity research team for the automotive, telecom and media sectors, reaching the rank as best Italian telecom analyst in 2000 (Extel). The same year BNPP appointed him head of Italian TMT Corporate Finance. In 2003 he joined Abaxbank (owned by Credito Emiliano) where he led the first round of restructuring. In 2005 he was appointed head of M&A of FMM (which then became Fante Group). In 2009 he participated in the startup of Hammer Partners, an independent research company catering to European hedge funds. Before joining Translink he carried out corporate finance activity as CEO of BCR Consulenti Associati, a corporate finance boutique he helped to found in 2012.
Riccardo works as an Analyst. He holds a bachelor degree in Economics of Financial Markets and Intermediaries at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and is completing a Master of Science in Finance at the Grenoble Ecole de Management. He is able to work in Italian, English and French.

Harleen, is Research Coordinator at the Milan office. She has more than 9 years of experience in the financial services industry in various roles. Harleen holds a degree in banking and insurance and a postgraduate diploma in international business. She started her professional career at Deutsche Bank (Mumbai) and worked at Barclays International in both Mumbai and London
Matteo Paggi is a finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, transaction services and auditing. Matteo began his career in the Milan Office of KPMG where he progressed with increasing levels of responsibility performing audit activities in the Financial Services sector. Subsequently, within KPMG’s Transaction Services division, he carried out transaction and due diligence activities. From 2007 to 2010, he worked for MIT.FIN (a Milan-based investment banking boutique), where he became Head of the Execution Team and followed several M&A transactions in domestic and foreign markets.
From 2010 to 2011 he was Head of Execution in Fante (a Milan-based investment banking company). In 2013 he became CEO/CFO of an Italian company providing printing services. In 2016, Matteo once again joined Translink Strempel as Partner. Matteo graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and he can conduct business in his native Italian as well as English and French. He is a member of our automotive and industrials groups, having closed several transactions in these sectors.
Filippo Dalponte is a senior professional with a long career in the italian Investment Banking industry and an extensive experience in Corporate Finance and M&A activities.
Filippo worked for some of the most reputed investment banks, advisory firms and financial institutions, amongst which La Compagnia Finanziaria, Gruppo Sopaf, Efibanca, Centrosim, Mitfin. He advised many large to mid-small corporates on Debt Capital Markets issues, Acquisition Finance, Equity Capital Markets (he managed more than 10 IPOs on the italian Stock Markets), M&A transactions, valuations and fairness opinions. He enjoys longstanding relationships with the Private Equity industry, having worked with major financial sponsors in the country on several deals in different sectors.
Filippo holds a Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University. He also attended top tier courses at SDA Bocconi School of Management on Financial Management and Corporate Finance. Filippo speaks Italian and English and may run business in both languages. His mainly covers industrials, consumer goods, food, private equity.
Mauro Bussotti built his career in the Investment Banking sector, focusing particularly on Structured Finance, Equity and Debt Capital Markets and on M&A advisory. He worked as a senior executive in several Italian and international banking groups before concentrating on advisory activity. He was the Credit Officer for Banca di Roma’s London branch and Deputy Representative for its New York office.
He has served as Credit Manager and Investment Banking Officer for Italian Financial Institutions in Citibank; Head of Investment Banking and Corporate Communication at Caboto, Intesa Group; Head of Investment Banking (Securitization, Structured Finance, M&A, Capital Market Origination) and Corporate Communications at Abaxbank, Credito Emiliano Group; and CEO of Comoi Corporate Finance, (the advisory arm of Comoi) among a plethora of others.
Mauro speaks English and Italian. He is a member of our food and industrials groups, having closed several transactions in these sectors.
Will has over 10 years’ experience in M&A, having advised on a broad range of transactions including owner-managed businesses, large corporates and private equity.
He has extensive experience in providing shareholders and management teams with strategic advice on corporate mergers & acquisitions, business disposals, exit strategies, management buy-outs/buy-ins and raising debt or equity capital.
Will’s sector experience spans a wide range of markets, and he is a member of our Energy & Environment specialist sector group.
Will enjoys spending his free time with his young family around the Yorkshire countryside and has a passion for a range of sporting hobbies including golf, skiing and general fitness.
Matt has over 15 years’ of mid-market corporate finance experience across numerous sectors including TMT, Logistics, Manufacturing and Business Services.
He advises owner-managers, corporate and private equity clients, with a particular focus on M&A strategy and execution.
Matt has been described as being a cornerstone in the successful completion of the transaction, always on top of the facts and totally on the ball in constantly changing situations.
He is a member of the ICAEW and holds a MA in Finance.
John has worked in the corporate finance industry for over 20 years including in M&A at a top six firm, as an investment professional at a private equity house and now at Translink Corporate Finance.
He enjoys advising a wide variety of business owners, management teams and financial institutions on a range of corporate transactions and strategies. Since joining Translink Corporate Finance John has been responsible for the successful delivery of several domestic and cross-border disposals and fund raisings including for a building products business which enabled transformational growth.
John spends his downtime either walking his dog Doris with his family, or road cycling in the peak district.
Tim is an experienced deal maker, having enjoyed working with privately owned businesses for over 15 years.
His experience cuts across a wide range of industry sectors, advising clients on disposals to strategic acquirers and financial investors, providing advice on raising funds for growth or acquisitions and advising management teams through private-equity-backed MBOs.
Tim enjoys an active social life, maintaining his passion for golf and playing off a +1 handicap and regularly competing in Sheffield and Yorkshire teams as well as some national events when time permits!
Declan has over eight years’ experience of providing corporate finance advice to owner managers and ambitious management teams. In recent years he has advised on a number of company sales, corporate acquisitions and MBOs for clients across a range of sectors including automotive, TMT, industrial and healthcare.
In 2019 he was named Emerging Dealmaker of the Year at the Insider Sheffield City Region Dealmakers Awards.
Livio has a background as both an entrepreneur and seasoned corporate finance professional. He started his professional career within his family’s business in the dairy sector and subsequently founded and developed a number of different industrial enterprises in Italy and abroad. In 2009, he became a partner within a UK financial institution – Intrust Corporate Finance plc, regulated by FCA – with responsibility over the South European markets in the food, fashion and energy sectors. During his career, he has carried out numerous M&A transactions, debt restructurings and has been an advisor in bankruptcy procedures for publicly owned companies. He is a member of the young entrepreneurs group of Assolombarda and has been a member of its finance and innovation commissions. Before joining Translink he carried out corporate finance activities as Chairman of BCR Consulenti Associati, a corporate finance boutique he helped to found in 2012. He is a member of our food group, having closed several transactions in this sector.
Sabina Grisorio gained extensive international Finance experience across Europe, the Middle-East, Africa and South East Asia in different industries: consumer goods, ICT and chemical. She started her career in 3M and subsequently moved to Digital Equipment Corporation and Kraft Foods. In these companies she covered roles with increasing responsibilities in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Corporate Governance, both in Italy and abroad. In Digital Equipment Corporation and Kraft Foods, Sabina participated in M&A and divestments activities, restructuring, information systems and organizational changes. From 2002 to 2009, based in Vienna, Sabina held the positions of Director of Internal Controls and subsequently Director of Corporate Governance for Kraft Foods, with a responsibility for Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. Sabina holds a Bachelor Degree, with Distinction, in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan-Italy) and she is able to conduct business in her native Italian as well as in English. She is a member of our food and logistics industry groups, having closed several transactions in this sector.
Gerardo, who is based in our Venice-Mestre office, began his professional career at Banco San Marco (now BPM) within its corporate credit office and has successively worked as CFO in other commercial and industrial companies operating in the agro-industrial sector. He has been active for over 20 years in advising on M&A transactions and internationalization processes, having assisted important Italian industrial groups in their M&A activities and in the search for strategic partners both nationally and internationally, with a particular focus on emerging markets. He is a speaker at conferences and seminars on issues of corporate finance at universities and business schools. Gerardo holds a degree in Economics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He is a member of our food industry group, having closed several transactions in this sector.
Stefano is active as an Analyst with Translink Strempel & Co. He is a graduate in Finance from Bocconi University at Milan and is fluent both in Italian and English.
Alberto has more than ten years of experience in mid-market M&A advisory services, particularly cross-border, with a track record including transactions in Eastern Europe, North America and Southern Asia.
Prior to joining Translink, he was Senior Associate with the Italian office of AICA – Alliance of International Corporate Advisors, a global investment banking partnership specializing in cross-border mid-market transactions. He began his career in 2010 as a Junior Analyst with the Private Equity team of Palladio Finanziaria.
Alberto earned a MS with honors in Banking and Finance and a BS in Business Economics both from the University of Padua.

PierCarla Delpiano has a degree in Economics from the University of Genoa. She has more than twenty years of experience in leading positions both in public administrations and private companies. In 1998 she was the first woman in Italy to become City Manager. In the private sector, she has been Director of Communication and External Relations at Fiera Milano spa, a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (2008-2018). She has also collaborated with important Universities (Bocconi and Iulm in Milan) and consulting companies (School of Public Administration of Lucca, Consiel). She took part and taught in specialization courses and masters (High School of Economics and Finance, Uncem, SDA Bocconi), and she was a speaker at national and international conferences. She is currently adjunct professor for the Master in Corporate Communications at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. President of the Board of Directors at Fondazione Stelline, Milan, since 2013.
Luigi has been involved for almost 20 years within listed and OTC international financial markets, working mainly with MPS Asset Management, Prima sgr and Anima sgr. He worked as fund manager and buy side analyst, both on equity and corporate debt markets (investment grade and high yield). He also worked within the macroeconomic department research of MPS Asset Management Sgr and as analyst and manager of credit derivatives products (CDOs and CSOs). From 2013 to mid-2016 we worked as sell-side equity analyst (Hammer Partners) on listed Italian companies. Later he gained experience in M&A as sell-side advisor from the origination to the successful sale of a food processing SME to a PE. Before joining Translink he worked within the Treasury Department of Piaggio Aerospace. Luigi holds a degree in Economics from University of Pisa and a Master in Finance (CUOA-Altavilla Vicentina).
Fabrizio Malavolti has a degree in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan. He has extensive experience in corporate finance and equity markets. He worked as portfolio manager for SanPaolo Imi Asset Management and Monte Paschi Asset Management on Asian equity markets and sales covering Japanese equity markets for Merrill Lynch and then for Mizuho International in London. From 2009 to 2012 he collaborated with a UK regulated company on renewable energy investments; in 2013 he set up a company in involved in energy savings works, of which he was managing director. He worked on M&A operations in collaboration with Labs Investments and BCR Consulting. In 2004 he successfully completed the CFA. He also carried out several volunteer activities for the CFA Society Italy: designing and organizing the conference at Borsa Italiana “From Italy with value” in 2013 and 2014 and acting as Mentor for the CFA Research Challenge from 2012 to 2014.
Giampaolo Cogliati has developed his career within the Investment Banking sector. He has particularly focused on Structured Finance, Equity and Debt Capital Markets and on M&A advisory. He has been a Senior Executive in several Italian and international banking groups to finally concentrate on advisory activity. Giampaolo has been Credit Analyst in Banque Indosuez; member of Structured Finance team in Crédit Lyonnais becoming Head of Acquisition Finance; Head of Structured Finance in Abaxbank, Investment Bank of Credito Emiliano Group; Relationship Manager and Head of Credit Analysis & Structuring in Natixis;. Giampaolo is fluent in French, his native language is Italian.
